Copies please

Whenever you make copies of anything, be mindful of how you make them. You can save paper in numerous ways.
If you're making handouts for a presentation, particularly if you are handing out copies of PowerPoint slides, consider reducing their size. Many copiers have an option to shrink to fit multiple pages on one. PowerPoint even has built in functionality to condense multiple slides to one page when you print.
Use the front and back side of the page when making copies. There aren't many office copiers that don't have the ability to turn a stack of one-sided pages into a stack of half as many two-sided pages.
Finally, when putting together packets that are even mildly complicated – perhaps just involving the copier front-and-backing your pages and stapling – use the sample set function. Many copiers allow you to set up the entire copy job, but then only print one set and offering a chance to cancel the job and reset or continue as planned.
You can save a lot of wasted paper and time by checking that first one before letting the job run only to find out that backsides are upside down.
