Don't just punch out, unplug

Consider plugging all your electronics and appliances at the office into power strips. That way at the end of the day when you punch out, you can unplug too.
Many electronics can consume electricity, even when they're not on. These are often referred to as vampire or phantom electronics. The many homes can save more than $50 a year by unplugging such devices. Imagine what your office might save if you got everyone on board.
Maybe you leave that wired desk clock off of your strip though. Resetting the time each morning might take more energy from you than you save.
If you can't find an available power strip at work, bring a one or 2 to the office, or put in a request to order some with the next supply shipment.
