Are you attending a wedding this year? Use the occasion to practice and share your green ideals, while being an enjoyable guest for the happy couple.

Green wedding gifts – The greenest gifts are those the couple will appreciate. Check their registry first. Offer your talent or a service, and don't hesitate to give good old green cash.

Wedding clothes – Green brides are wearing secondhand clothing, so why can't you? Choose a vintage ensemble, revamp one of your old favorites, or borrow from a friend.

Travel emissions – Ask the couple if other guests will be traveling from your region and consider carpooling. Rent a fuel-efficient car if you don't have one, or take a bus or train. If you must fly, consider taking a green vacation in the area after the wedding to offset the CO2.
