Cool your home with a solar attic fan

The sun heats your home, so why not use its energy to help cool your home, too?

Solar attic fans install right on your roof and expel hot air that builds up in the attic. Drawing this heated air out will help cool your home in hotter weather and thus reduce your air conditioning costs.

Roof-mounted, solar-powered attic fans use sunlight to power the fan and remove heat and moisture from the attic. Many of these fans are set up to activate when there is sufficient sunlight for them to operate.
